Just a little something for those of you out there. My husband discovered a great site called bizrate.com. Basically you can enter a general description of any item and it will search the web and find a variety of sites that carry it and the assorted prices. It's surprising the difference in prices between companies. I don't know if this site is well known, but I have used it several times and been very happy with the results. Does anyone know if there are any others out there that are similar?

Yes, there is another site that searches for the best prices. It is called www.mysimon.com

I have found that these sites are good, but not comprehensive. OFten, I have found the item at a lower price by just searching using one of the search engines (google), but my husband used this recently and found a great deal on our digital camera that he would have never been able to find. In my opinion, these sites are worth using and introduce you to other websites that you might not have ever even known about!

Thank you for the tip! I'll have to add it to our $avings folder :) I thought of another web-site that is good for saving a few dollars: dailyedeals.com. It lists any coupons or discounts that are being used throughout the web, their codes and expiration dates. I just saved 15% at gap.com on some maternity clothes. They have different sections, apparel, furniture, etc. And they also have a whole list the stores that have coupons. I love it! Most times I shop online I end up saving a little bit of money, whether it be free shipping, or 10%.It's the best.
