Anyone Have An Opinion on Bassett or Child Craft Cribs?

I like the fact that both have the type of side that slides down on a rail instead of the plactic bars many cribs tend to have. Does anyone have either of these brands and what do you think?

We have a convertible Child Craft Crib and really like it. The side moves up and down easily with a push of the knee and it looks great.

We got it on clearance at Babies R Us for only $230!! Instead of getting the matching furniture we got a RumbleTuff Long HiLo dresser from a baby store. Paid about what we would have paid for a regular size child craft.

The idea of a convertible was very appealing to us. Together with the rumble tuff dresser both pieces will last one of our children through college...we haven't decided if we will get a convertible crib for #2 or just get dd new furniture and use the nursery stuff for #2.
