Monitor for long ranges...

Hello-

We are going to visit my parents and need a long range monitor as they live in a condo and db is going to be sleeping across the hall in another (on the same floor and connected but pretty far away). We purchased the Sony 27 channel mopnitor but not sure about the range. We use the angelcare at home but it only has a 200 foot range. Any suggestions for a super long-range monitor that will work through lots of walls?

My sister has a huge house. Her kitchen is quite a distance from her room. She is using the SOny 27 channel monitor and she loves it. We were in the kitchen once for lunch and her DS was napping and I could here my nephew's breathing.
