I posted this in nursery necessities first, but thought it should go here instead.
I just got the PBK autumn catalog and saw chamois crib sheets for only $29. Are these new? If not, does anyone here have any experience with them? I have the chamois blanket from PBK and I LOVE how soft it is, even after repeated washings. I wonder how a crib sheet would work/hold up.
Thanks!

We used one last winter and it is still in fine shape. It is very soft. I would recommend it. Other posts have mentioned a similar sheet - Fleece Baby, I think.

Thanks for your reply.
Can you answer a few questions?
Did it shrink at all in the wash? Did you machine wash and dry?
Does it have elastic all the way around the edges?
Is it easy enough to get on the mattress?
Any pilling? (like fleece pills??)
Thanks so mcuh!

It did not shrink. I follow the tag which says machine wash cold, line dry. It does not have elastic all the way around, just on short ends and the corners. It is not any more difficult to get on or off than our other sheets. No pilling.

Just wanted to add my own plug for the chamois crib sheets, even though I haven't had a chance to use them yet! They are so ultra soft! I have a fleece baby sheet too, and like the chamois sheet better. It's much softer.

I have the Fleece Baby crib and pack-n-play sheets and the PBK chamois changing pad cover. I love them all, but the pp is right-- I think the chamois sheets stay nicer longer (my changing pad cover still looks and feels brand new). I got a bad batch of Fleece Baby sheets that didn't hold up well at all, but they have since been replaced and I've had no problems with them so far.

I have a pbk chamois sheet from last year, and it's SO soft... i wish they sold them for adults! I've washed it a few times and thrown it into the dryer i'm sure... i just can't be bothered to wash/dry every baby item i own exactly the way they all recommend. It came out good as new!
Glad to hear this! We bought one of these sheets for the new baby and I am not going to be line drying, so it's a relief to hear that you've dried yours just fine. Thanks!

I got a PBK Chamois last year. My only complaint is that I wish it was 100% cotton. I'm not comfy with the thought of baby's delicate skin directly against a non-natural fiber for so many hours during the night.
So, I wont be using it in his crib now that he's sleeping on his belly. I will, however be using it for baby #2 expected this winter, but then again, she'll be sleeping on her back, in a sleep sack so I really am not getting the benefit of that nice sooooft sheet, am I?

I also love the one that Madeline has - didn't shrink and fit around her mattress very nicely. No pilling at all. We actually bought one for my best friend's new baby :)

I bought the Chamois crib sheet about a month ago after having the Chamois changing pad covers for a year now. I've always washed and dried the covers and they are still as soft as when I first bought them. So far the sheet has been washed 3 times and is holding up just as well. I plan on buying a few more to get us through the rest of the winter. I love them!
