I have a Simmons contour pad now (used with DD#1) and want to reuse it and just get a new color cover for DD#2 arriving in a month. But the only covers I've seen in the right colors (fuschia, lime, turquise) are Rumbletuff covers. Anyone know if the Rumbletuff cover fits on a Simmons pad?

No one has the bright colored covers in a store, so I'll have to order online. Anyone know of any coupons/deals for the Rumbletuff covers?

Thanks so much!

Jessica, Have you tried Michelle at Cover Cuddles? www.covercuddles.com. She makes beautiful covers and her prices are SO reasonable. She's a BBB mama, too!

Oh, those cuddle covers are cute!
I'm not sure about the Rumbletuff covers, but I saw fuschia chamois covers at PBK when I was pregnant with DD2 (over a year ago now). I use PBK chamois covers on our simmons contour pad and they are sooooo soft and luxurious! They are like new after a year of frequent washings, too. Good luck!!

Another vote for PBK's covers, I loved them! I had butter, blue and green. The blue is close to periwinkle, not so much baby blue. Reminds me, its something else I need to try to sell, guess we're not going to use them anymore.

I also have the PBK's chamois sheets and I used them when its cool outside.

I've had a RumbleTuff changing pad that we used with DS, and am now looking for a new pad to use with DC #2, so I've been looking at the Simmons one. I don't think the RumbleTuff ones would work well on another pad because the RumbleTuff pad is raised on all four sides, with a well in the middle, and their changing pad covers are tailored to fit that design. The Simmons pads I've seen at BRU are more of the classic concave shape with raised sides but not raised ends.

Based on what I've seen thus far, I assume that if I do end up getting the Simmons pad this time around, I'll need to buy new covers as well.

There are several different sizes of changing pads. As long as the sizes are the same (I think there's 17" and 19" contoured pads + some kind of flat pad), you should be fine.
