Anyone tried them? They're on a huge markdown on Overstocks right now. I'm thinking about picking up a pair or two since they seem to have them in his size.

Any thoughts?

I like them. We've found them to be fairly rugged which is good considering both my boys get holes in their jean knees very quickly! Also, the climbers that have elastic at the ankles are nice because they have that "grow with you" capability...you can get them slightly big and they're not too long since the elastic keeps them at the ankle.

Too funny i was going ask about those also! :D

I do like the idea of a "double knee"

Well i ordered a pair, couldn't get the $3.99 ones tho x(

But did grab a burnt orange for $10.50, still not bad ;)

The climber pant style is for sure what ds needs lol

I can posts my thoughts later on when i get them, if anyone wants :)

I'm not really sure what you mean? It seems to be the thick no-roll elastic encased in the same fabric as the pants. The little buckle thing doesn't seem to anything but just look pretty. =)

I like them. The fabric is nice and thick.

Um, basically that the waist band isn't too tight or rough in the material...i don't have anything i could directly compare too but you know how some clothes have tight, rough waist bands? he won't wear those, LE seems to state they have "tummy friendly" elastic waist, so guess we'll see ;)

Thanks! :)

These are the most "tummy friendly" pants besides sweats that I have found. They have a generous stretchy waist band that is not confining at all. I usually don't put Josh in anything but fleece/sweat/knit type pants because typical jeans and cordoroys hurt his tummy. But I bought the khaki climber pants and jeans from LE adn think they are nearly as comfy in the waist as a pair of fleece pants--and that's saying alot! I also really like how durable they are for crawling kids.

Oh, well, they are a little big on my son, so they're very tummy-friendly for him, but I guess it would depend on the size of your child Vs. where they call into the range. My son is wearing the 2T and he is around 30 lbs and 34.5 inches. The waist band is loose on him, but it's not falling down.

I've never noticed a problem with the waistbands. They are in the same fabric as the pants so not extremely soft but better than regular jeans. As far as fit, they are definitely not tight or binding. HTH!

I had been reading this discussion and I was very interested because I think Andrew will be potty training a year from now and he will need elastic waistband pants to do it! I was dreading dressing him in sweats 100% of the time (as my friends with potty training boys have done) so you can see why my interest was piqued!

Anyhow, I just got back from my local Sears and I picked up a pair of beige and a pair of olive climber pants for $2.99 apiece! They had them in 2T, 3T and 4T. Of course while I was there I snagged a LE rugby playsuit for $3 and a LE rugby shirt for $4.49! So for $13 I got 4 items that were all $20 or so at full retail price. Not bad!

So check out your local Seasr if you want the pants!
