what size floppy sunhat should I get Holden????

He's got a pretty small head. Wears a 12-18month sized baseball cap from Gymboree and Baby Gap, pretty comfortably with some room to grow. His head has always been in the 5-10th percentiles.

Should I buy the small or extra-small??

I got Maddie the white floppy hat in size S. It fits her well w/ room to grow. She's got a pretty big head for a one year old (no pun intended :) ). Her head circumference at the 1 year check up was 18 3/4 which is in the 95th percentile. I normally get her a 3T in hats at Janie & Jack. Here's pic we took last weekend of Maddie in her floppy hat. HTH!

Your post is very timely! My sister just sent Leela a white floppy hat for her 5 month birthday. It is an XXS (her head size is 16") but it is a wee bit small.. i am going to return it and get an XS. I would call their CS and talk to them about sizes.. measure Holden's head first!

BTW, they are VERY CUTE. They have some at old navy but did not have a S or XS in Leela's size.

I got an XS for Amy Grace and it fits nicely with a little room to grow. She is currently wearing 6-18 mos hats from Gymboree.

I just ordered one of these for Maddy in "green bean" to go with her froggie stuff. I almost ordered Soleil also but restrained myself. I ordered a XXS which I hope isn't too big because her head is teeny I think it was 12 " at her one month? which was like the 15th % (and she was actually 5 weeks) !

What colour are you getting, huh huh? I love hats on babies and it gets SO hot and sunny here in Reno I figure if we are going to go out in the summer at all she better be wearing a BIG hat.

I think Hanna has a measuring chart of their website. Just measure around the widest portion of Holden's head and match it to the size!

Oh and we want pictures when it arrives.

Connor's head is 18 3/4 and I got him the small hat. It fits him perfectly. What is the measurement of Holden's head?

Awwwwwwwww, typical boy! So Holden likes blue now? Maddy will be disappointed he won't be wearing that yellow cumberbund to their prom. I think the green bean hat was a great choice. I can't wait to put it on her with her hippity dress.
