View Full Version : Hanna Gingham Romper
item # YP27922
Anyone have this? Is it for boy or girl or either? I'm thinking of the navy for Finn for some Black & White photos? Would this look cute?
Thanks,

I have last years in different colors than the navy. My dh doesn't like either of the ones I have but I think they are very nice looking on. My only beef with it (and I ordered this years then sent it back so I could compare the 2) is the collar sort of looks "girly" on last years and this years. However I still like mine, just don't get the matching hat as people thought Nathan was a girl. If you want I can post pictures of Nathan in it if you'd like.
Yes, I would love to see a pic of your cutie in it. Thanks so much!

Thanks for the nice words. If you buy one for Finn please share pictures too. I'm attaching the green gingham and the blue gingham (which isn't navy but it is blue).

He's darling! In 2002, when Wade was 1, the romper was lime and royal blue. Your pictures bring back memories of my little guy - I can't beleive he's turning 3 this summer!!
oh, so cute! I know what you mean about the collar looking more feminine. However, when I was out shopping today, I noticed that the majority of specialty/dressy boy outfits had similar collars. I think the gingham is so fun.
I did buy something today, but wonder if it might be too big so that got me thinking about this gingham one. Mmm, I just can't decide. Plus, can I just say, shopping for boys clothes stinks! There is NOTHING all that special or unique.

In case anyone is interested, they still have some of last year's gingham rompers - limited sizes though. Item # 26336 I bought some of the gingham stuff from last years line and love the fabric!

Was wondering if you noticed any problem with last year's gingham romper? Some posts indicated that this year the romper had some issues with wrinkling and not washing well.

Nope, no problems that I have noticed, although I wash on delicate and hang this particularly romper to dry because DD always manages to stain it and I didn't want to dry-in any missed stains. The seersucker dries fast anyway. No wrinkling problems either.

Here's my guy wearing it. I really love the style and fabric, and we also have it in navy in the next size up. No worries about the outfit making him look like a girl; it's his hair that does that! (It's even longer now, this pic was a couple of months ago.)

But, oh my, is he GORGEOUS!! I LOVE the curly blond hair and blue eyes! I think my DS looks very much like a boy but people often call him a girl. I don't really mind... as long as they say good things!! :)
Can you tell me what color your romper is? Is it the French Blue? We just received the Pear (bright green). I think the romper is really cute on him. How old was he when this picture was taken? Your son is five months older than mine. Thanks for sharing the picture!

Oh, thanks for the compliment, that's sweet. Yeah, I'm the same way. It doesn't bother me either about the 'girl' comments. In that picture, he was 13 months old, the romper is size 70 and it's probably too small now. He's in 80's,but even a couple of them are short in the rise.
The color is Aqua; I'm pretty sure. Last spring the gingham clothes came in fushia, aqua and navy. The code is 27922
