Hi all,

I wanted to know if anyone knows of a specific brand of shoe protectant that is especially good for suede shoes? I am trying to keep DD's new shoes nice. I picked up some at Target-Kiwi for suede, but there didn't seem to be much selection for shoe protectants. I am wondering if anyone else has had great results with another brand?

I don't know of a spray protectant, other than what you already bought. Do you have a suede brush? Using that will keep them looking new - kind of. I know how my dd scuffs the toes up, and the brush helps a little bit.

Heidi,

are those the BF shoes? They aren't traditional suede, I think they are nubuck. Have you asked Erica what she reccomends or called a shoe store? I am interested to know the answer as well. Plus, in our case it has to be non toxic in case DD sucks on the toes.

Imperia,

I have some Striderite brown suede and some L'amour red nubuck ones. I also have some Raspberry nubuck ones on the way. My DD very rarely sucks on her shoes (should be done with this by now), so I hope that they spray won't be a problem! I am going to ask Erica to see what she says....

I think we use the Penguin brand (have actually used a few brands)
