Upcoming Gymboree Tiered Sale

I was just in Gymboree this moring returning some stuff and I saw a stack of postcards advertising a sale. Here are the details:

October 28-31

Save 25% on purchases of $50 to $99.99
Save 30% on purchases of $100 to $149.99
Save 35% on purchases of $150+

Fine print:

Discount is taken after Gymboree Visa discount (meaning the spending limits are determined AFTER the 5%).

Discount is for REGULAR-PRICED merchandise only!!!! So it's not good on sale stuff.

The SA said that they had a few new lines coming out at that time so the idea was to get people in to buy the brand new lines.

If the new lines are really cute then a 35% discount might be worth it, since it would take 2 rounds of discounts to get to 40% off. Of course it's not like I NEED anything else... :)

Edited to Add:

On the front of tbe postcard there are some pictures of 'new' merchandise: white fuzzy baby boots/slippers, a pale blue girl's knit cardigan, a girl's grey, yellow and blue vertical striped knit poncho, a grey boy's ski vest and a pale blue baby boy's sweater with a big rocket on it!

This last one excites me the most. Does this mean that they are coming out with a cute rocket line for baby boys? Yeah!

I am So Excited about this sale. I think Tiered sales are the Best! I hope that the City Sidewalk line does NOT go on sale so I can get some more of that line.

I saw that adorable rocket sweater and I fell in love too! I only hope it is not just layette sizes :(

Hmmmm rocket ship stuff is cool for the moms of boys. Gymboree had a really cute boys rocketship line called "Red Rocket" but it was just layette. let's hope they wise up and at least do it to 3T this time.

Did anyone else notice they seem to have raised the sliding scale for the tiered sale discount? The last tiered sale (when Tip toe came out I think Feb of last year) the 35% was at something like $76 or $100 if I remember correctly!

Not sure I will be loving the new lines, I'll have to wait and see.

according to gymborebel that rocket sweater is for baby boy and will go up to a 3t - SWEET! We'll see! :)

I know that Red Rocket line. I got a couple of pieces for DS before he was born when I was redeeming Gymbucks. $5 each for the cutest rompers you have ever seen! I couldn't bear to part with them so I am (eventually) going to make them into one of those framed pieces where you put baby clothes under glass.... KWIM?
