I'll put the tj Maxx dress pictures here by themselves. It's $15, 100% cotton (like velvet) Red with offwhite collar, hem, cuffs and snowflakes with red panties/bloomers. Says Heirlooms by Polly Flinders.

Stacey, thanks for showing us this dress! I actually headed over to TJ Maxx this morning between Parker's and Wesley's soccer games since it's pretty close to the fields. I ended up getting the dress in an 18mos for Amy Grace. I think it's really adorable. I've always liked the Hanna dress but never wanted to spend much on a holiday dress because I am *very* bad about not wanting to wear something that I perceive as holiday once the holidays are gone. Ridiculous but at least I know myself! LOL!
Anyway, one of the big differences between this dress and the Hanna one is that this one is velour while the Hanna (I believe) is corduroy. The velour is very soft and the dress seems well made. My TJ Maxx had several in every size from 3-6mos up to 24mos and they were $15, same as your store.
After naptime, I may try to get a shot of AG wearing the dress. :)

I'd love to see the pic - I love pics of AG! I already have the Hanna dress so don't plan to return it, plus my TJ's has NO holiday stuff, really pathetic!
I remember as a little girl wearing Paula Flinders dresses. My mom loved them...and we used to go to a little boutique about 40 minutes away from home to get them.
Best,
Mary

That's great, Denise! I couldn't get SIL to bite. Lol. But, my sister might go get one which would be cool since we'll be there for xmas. If she does, I will have to make sure she has some offwhite tights and black patent boots. :)

Women, I saw this dress. It is SO FREAKING CUTE! They also had some by this brand that were light pink and off white with little scalloped sleeves and hem (not on a special rack).
That's all I have to say. LOL. Oh, and if you think you might want it, run and go get it NOW. You could return it w/in 30 days for your money back, but I don't think it will be around long.

Ok, I'll go look tomorrow. Can you re-send your address? I had the pm function disabled.

My store had the pink ones. Like a pinafore with off white blouses underneath. Totally adorable.

I remember wearing Polly Flinders too! We used to drive to Marshall Field's in Chicago (I grew up in Indianapolis) to get the dresses!

Have it in hand. Will find out shipping tomorrow. Just noticed it comes with little bloomer/diaper cover panties. :) How cute is this dress?!
I have the postage ready.

Argh! I just exchanged the 18mo size for the 12mo one to send to Dyonia. Don't know if DH will let me do another this week
(he thinks I returned the 18mo one). We're in cc crunch time until the 28th.

Oh...I want a 3-6 months...ahh. the agony of being superstitious.
Oh well...anyway, I just wanted to say that I disagree with you about it being velour, I think it is velvet...just a short nap, but not as short as velveteen.
I did notice that some of them looked like they were smashed together such that the hanger and panty-marks came through to the dress. I am not sure if that is something that will remedy in the wash or not.
So freaking cute!!

I agree, Melanie! It's definitely velvet rather than velour! I don't know what I was thinking but I was typing from memory. :) I realized later but forgot to come back and update my post. Thanks!
