I really like the Storyteller dress. The colors are fabulous and the knit is very soft. My only complaint is that the bow at the neck is not a permanent tie so it will come undone. Grrr. Why would they do that on a toddler's dress???

This is the snowflake dress I got at TJ Maxx. I think it's very cute on. It's a soft velvet and very well made.

I'm really sorry that the colors didn't come out that well. I had all the lights on in the room and the blinds open and the flash on but those pink walls just don't lend themselves to showing colors accurately. :(

She looks great in both!
How does the Hanna dress run? I would like it for Makenna, but she is tall and very very narrow in her build

Denise, Amy Grace looks beautiful, as always! She is a great little model! The Storyteller dress is gorgeous! I didn't get it and now it's sold out in 100. :-( Oh, well. I always feel a bit guilty buying things that are knitted because my mom knits things for the girls so it's probably for the best.

The snowflake dress is adorable, too. Amy Grace will be one beautifully dressed girl this Christmas!

Thank you for sharing!

She looks so pretty! I love both of them. Is that the 18 mo size on the TJ dress?

So precious! This pic reminded me to order the dresses for my girls! Boo that they're sold out.

Yes, that's the 18mos snowflake dress. It's just a touch big. Mainly a little long in the sleeves. :)

I think that the Hanna dress runs a bit wide. AG is wearing an 80. When I first held it up I thought "wow, this looks too short and wide" but then it fit great. I think it's made to be a bit loose and away from the body.

Amy Grace is adorable in her new dresses. What are you putting they boys in for the holidays? I need to start thinking about Andrew's outfit so I can get pics done.

Awww, Denise, she looks adorable! I love her little pig-tails! Both dresses are wonderful. I think I remember that AG and Eliza are similar in size, so seeing these pictures makes me doubt the 70 I ordered in desperation will work for us. Deep sigh!

Oh, and I agree-- the non-permanent tie on the bow is very silly. Don't know what they could have been thinking.

For our Christmas card picture, the boys will wear the Storyteller vests, hanna t-necks and some variety of pants. :)

They're both just beautiful on! The Storyteller dress has a great drape, and the velvet snowflake dress glows.
Amy Grace always looks adorable-she's a real cutie.

Denise,

OK, you are truly killing me here. I just want you to know that. AG looks sooooo cute in both of her dresses!! But I'm really loving that Storyteller dress on her. EP's is on the way (should be here today, maybe?) and A's will ship next week. I had just about talked myself into cancelling A's order and returning EP's because we don't really *need* them, but I don't know if I'll be able to do it. It looks sooo cute!

Maybe you can make me feel better. How many holiday dresses do you have for AG?

:D Sorry. ;) Does the Storyteller dress count as holiday? We're going to use it for Christmas cards but I liked that it's not really holiday looking so I will continue to dress her in it past the holidays. The snowflake dress is really the only other one. BUT, I recently bought a last year Gymbo outfit from the sale rack for like $8 total! It's the black velvet embroidered cherry pants and ivory onesie from last year. That'll be for the holidays, too. :)

She looks so adorable! I love them both.

If the bow does not need to come untied for her to get the dress on and off, you could put a stitch through the knot with some matching thread.

Amy Grace looks adorable!!! Her little piggies are very cute!

I got the snowflake dress in 18 mo. too. Someone is sending it to me. But now I'm worried it will be way too big. Sadie is just 22 pounds and 31inches.
How big is AG?

Can you shrink velvet, do you think it would be hard to alter the dress Denise?

wahhhhhh!

Sadie and AG are about the same size. I think AG is about 23lbs, 32". If anything, it will just be a bit long in the sleeves. I actually prefer the dress itself a bit long so I like that part of it. :) Let us know how it fits!!

First, I love those little pig tails. SO cute. AG looks so different from the last pics I remember you sharing. As I've said on the other storyteller threads, I adore this dress on these kids. And that Snowflake dress is perfect!! We have the Hanna one and it's uncanny how similar they are. Love it!
