Got our new Naartjie, and I really like it, but the sizing is tricky and I need to exchange some things, but I'm not sure what I want to get. So let me know what you think!

First is the peter-pan top with the striped fringe pants in Bluebell. I like this, but both the top and pants are too big. I may keep this so she can wear it in the spring. What do you guys think of the color and style on her?

Second is the corduroy top and cord frill pants in Flower. The pants fit really well and have a bit of room for growth, but the top is huge. Do you like the cord top on her? Should I just order a smaller size? I am thinking of exchanging it for a peter-pan top in Flower since she won't fit into the Bluebell set until spring.

Last, I got a fleece top in Old Rose with cranberry velour trim leggings. (No pic, my model wasn't cooperating!) The top is huge and I didn't love it anyway so it's going back, but the cranberry leggings are cute and fit well. So what to get to go with them?

I think she looks great in both outfits. The purple is so pretty on her- I would just exchange for a smaller size. My new rule is to buy for now, not later. Too much cute new stuff comes out in the meantime. So, if I had to choose, I would just get the top in the first pic in a smaller size so she can wear it now. I've never purchased any Naartjie so I can't help with the cranberry stuff :)

Robyn,

Wow, look at Ava standing up! Pretty soon she'll be running all over the place and you'll have to chase her around with the camera.

I think both outfit look adorable on her. The colors are both beautiful. I think the bluebell outfit would work great in the spring. The cord top is really sweet, so I think you should keep it, but size down since it does seem big.

How big is Ava now, and what sizes did you get? I haven't ordered from Naartjie in a while since Kyleigh really doesn't need anymore clothes, but it just might be time for an order for XMas gifts!

Lisa,
Isn't it crazy? A month ago she was just starting to crawl and now she is cruising all over the place. She can stand pretty well without holding on to anything, so it won't be too long before she is walking. Yikes! I am definitely NOT ready for that!

As for sizing, she was 27.5" and 17.5 lbs. at her last appointment about 6 weeks ago and she's had a big growth spurt since then, so I am guessing she's at least 28" and 18.5 lbs. now. I bought 6-12 in the bottoms and 12-18 in tops. Those are the same sizes she is wearing in the Boho line from the fall, but the winter line sizing is definitely different. The stripe leggings in the first pic are a good 2" longer than the leggings in the second pic, even though both are the same size.

I bet Kyleigh would look great in the Flower color! Def. get the peter pan top if you order -- it is so soft and sweet.

How adorable! I love the first outfit on her! She looks really great in bluebell and of course you know I love that outfit. :) I think it would make a great spring outfit. The second outfit looks really cute on her, too. As for what to go with the cranberry pants, I just don't know. I liked the swiss floral with rayon top pretty well. If you don't care for the old rose color, maybe get it in cranberry? Lynda at the Stoneridge store said they got lots of tops in cranberry. Maybe try calling and asking which tops they actually have and how they go?

I'm still debating on what to keep and what to send back. I know I'll keep the first outfit you pictured but I really need to decide between our pop crush dye outfit and the flower outfit that you pictured. I also have some Gymbo to narrow down. :( I want to keep it all! Wah! LOL!
