I'm debating whether I need to get him a special holiday sweater or not, almost bought the Gymbo reindeer sweater, but figure he can't wear it after Christmas, so I'm not sure about spensing the $$$. Has anyone seen any sweaters or outfits they really love for little boys for the holidays?

I found a cute 3-piece set at Kohl's. It has a china blue long-sleeved bodysuit, navy cords, and a hooded sweater with a snowflake pattern. I figure it will work for Christmas and the winter months.

It's his first Christmas so I went a little crazy with the Gymbo. He'll be wearing the reindeer onsesie, red overalls, reindeer sweater and of course, the matching hat. I bought the pieces at different times but they were all at least 35% off.

I also bought a reindeer sweater and onesie (and of course matching hat and pants). Love it! Really recommend it and he could wear it after Christmas, why not?
Unfortunately I think some of the items are sold out in bigger sizes (18-24m) that my little almost 9 month old is wearing.

We need two holiday outfits (XMas Eve and XMas Day) so I got the train sweater vest and train corduroy overalls from The Children's Place. They aren't too festive so could easily be worn into 2005, though the sweater vest will probably be a one-time wear for us - I'm not really into vests for Colin but couldn't pass up the train theme!!

So far... I have 4 different holiday outfits - LOL! He wore a blackwatch plaid jon-jon w/ a navy blue turtleneck for Thanksgiving. And he wore black corduroys and a red reindeer sweater from Land's End (bought on clearance at Sears last year for $4) for our holiday photos. I also have a pair of touch of wool overalls for him to wear w/ a white turtleneck for Christmas and I just bought a red velveteen jon-jon from eBay and if I can find a shirt (and if it fits!), he can wear that for Christmas Eve or Boxing Day (we're going to my parents' house in TX) or something. I also got him a 2-piece fleece pajama outfit w/ a reindeer on it from Carter's.

Well, MIL bought us this sweater from Osh Kosh, so I picked up a black turtleneck and black cords at Children's Place and there's our holiday outfit!

I did two outfits: the Hanna black velvet overalls with wool plaid cuffs and the patchwork plaid BabyGap pants with the J&J cream handknit Aran sweater. The overalls are much cuter in person then they are in the Hanna ad...I paired them with a plain long-sleeved white tee and DS looks so cute in them.

I love the sweater because the plaid pants make it Christmasy, but it when I pair it with khakis it just becomes a regular "non-holiday" outfit.

Good luck!

I was all set on getting Joshua the Talbots Kids snowman sweater but then came across this sweater at Marshalls for $12 so I got it instead. I will put either blue cords or jeans with it.
