I want to get Stefan a personalized blanket that's light enough for us to use in the summer. I am finding mostly fleece blankets that are nice, but heavier than I would like.

Any ideas on where to find a lightweight baby blanket that can be personalized? I saw the Land's End lace blanket. Does anyone have an opinion on that one? Is it sturdy enough to actually use?

thanks so much!

They're not personalized but Hanna's baby blankets are YUMMY.

Cuteasbuttons.com does a basic, personalized cotton blanket that is soft and a really nice quality--I use mine all the time!

DS has the LE lace blanket, and I think it's great! Very soft and sturdy enough to use a lot. HTH!

The LE lace blanket is great. We've been using it - at daycare, no less - for about 2 years. It's washed weekly, and has become somewhat pilly, but is still soft and totally usable.

I'm on the hunt for a new summer blanket now, because DS has outgrown the LE blanket.

both of my kids have the LE blanket. It's lightweight, soft, and durable enough... but definitely not a swaddling blanket--it's too stretchy!
