Just wanted to inject a little something different into all the Hanna frenzy.

I'm still trying to figure out DD's style - I know she has one, but it's a mix. She looks good in bright colors, and we love her in dresses, but her personality is alternatively sensitive and thoughtful then rough and tumble. So it's funny to see this lacy, ruffly dressed girl go running around, falling, and yelling and singing.

How did you all figure this out your toddler's "style"?

Some sale finds from April Cornell. Love this bright set - it's supposed to be capris, what do you think? LOL - she's in CDs, so we buy a bit big, and capris are really crops or regular pants :). Excuse the hands in mouth - she's eating "toasties" for breakfast.

I still haven't made up my mind on this dress. What do y'all think? It is so cute, maybe the picture doesn't do it justice. Or maybe it's just not DD's style :). It's a 2T - the baby version had more ribbons on the front and more color. Cornelloki sizing goes from 18months, then 2T. No 24m, so we're stuck in between. Really sweet from the back - sorta little house on the prairie? - LOL

The red tropical dress is Nkids (Nordstrom), in 3T, runs really small. Bright and fun. And the Naartjie dress in white - you've seen lots of this before, but I still love it...:).

I am enjoying finally breaking out the summer clothes - it has been a cold and rainy spring here in the Pacific Northwest.

I love everything, especially the floral dress (the 2nd outfit). The pink AC outfit it cute too, and I like the bright dress a lot. Are her shoes SKR? Cute.

It's funny that you ask about toddler style. Today at swim class, someone said 'oh, that bathing suit is so Daisy - that's just her'. And it's funny, we hear that a lot. I pick out all her clothes and I guess I'm just drawn to a certain look, but I can't quite define it.

By the way, I love you living room - it looks cozy and comfortable. I'm in the market for a new area rug - can I ask where you found yours?

Thanks for the positive feedback on the cream/pink floral dress. DD has a lot of dresses, and so it's hard to decide. Those shoes are SKR, good eye!

I think I know what you mean about being drawn to a certain look, but finding it hard to describe :).

And thanks on the living room - we're slowly upgrading our grad student furniture (although the camera missed the wobbly tray table ;), I still haven't found an endtable I like). I had to go lift up the corners on the rug to find the maker - Mastercraft, Legacy series - it's New Zealand wool, machine made, and has held up really well to 5 years of cats and now kids. We ordered it from a small local home store.
