Has anyone seen the Naartjie Indian Strpe Capris in Zest IRL?

It's the only color left in the size I'm looking for and I'd like feedback about how this color looks. I don't mind yellow on DD but there are so many shades of yellow, some good and some not so good!

Someone posted a pic of them with the spearmint camisole and it made me wish I had chosen the zest instead of spearmint to go with that top. Zest is really pretty and I like it on my DD (have the harem camisole, striped shorts and basic t) even though I don't usually dress her in yellow.

I haven't seen the Indian Stripe Capris in Zest, but I love the color Zest! I didn't think I would as I don't really like yellow on my girls with their coloring, but it is such a pretty color, almost like a lemon yellow. It's bright, but not glaring, if you know what I mean! I wish I could be more specific. I posted some pics of my girls wearing the Zest basic cami and the Zest striped basic capris. And I also remember seeing a pic of the Zest Indian Stripe Capris.

The other thing to consider is what top you'll be putting with the capris. I don't worry about the coloring as much if it's not going to be near their faces.

I have them (I am the one who posted pics of them with the spearmint cami -- you could probably do a search for "Ava and Naartjie and zest" or something like that) and I really like them! They are a sort of yellowish green, if that makes sense. Not a true yellow.

Here they are. The yellow in the capris is not really dominant, especially if you are pairing it with a spearmint top.

After looking at your old post I'm tempted to get the Funny Flower Dress and capris instead of the Indian striped capris and cami. Is there one outfit that you strongly prefer to the other (for comfort, fit, etc...). Also, do you recommend sizing down on the pants?

I don't know how the baby girl Indian Stripe Capris fit, but I had to order a size up for my big girls. The knit capris (again in big girl) ran true to size for us.

Well, I love them both, but if I had to get ONE, it would be the cami and striped capris. It is just a very pretty summery outfit, and a little different from the rest of what Ava has. You know, you might want to check with Marie (urbanmama) to see if she still has the white Indian striped bloomers she was selling -- those are a very cute alternative to the capris. Ava wears hers with the New Orange cami -- that is my absolute favorite of all our summer Naartjie!

As for sizing, Ava has 6-12 in all her Naartjie bottoms (stripe capris, bloomers, and knit funny flower capris) and they all fit about the same. If you CD, go with Claire's regular size, but otherwise I would size down.

The dollhouse came from Target after Christmas last year. It was marked down to $20 so I couldn't pass it up.

I'm kind of sorry I got it now. The walls don't stay in very well, so we leave them out and it's just an open air house. I like the ones at Tuesday Morning much better, but can't bring myself to buy another since we have this one. It came with furniture and people, so it was a very good deal. It's smaller than some of the others though.

If you have a Tuesday Morning store, check there. They have the Melissa and Doug one and a Brio one and another one, maybe Battat? And plenty of furniture.

Anna fell in love with the Calico Critters bunny family and kitchen furniture. www.calicocritters.com. So stinking cute! So far she's been underwhelmed by wooden dollhouse furniture. :(
