Is 9m the largest size? I have gotten ds onesies from their layette in 12m (XL) but haven't found sleepers in that size. I just love the way they fit & don't want to move into Baby Gap yet, where his arms look like little sausages!
Please let me know if these are available.

I've them in larger sizes (18 month, 24 month).

I couldn't find Carter's sleepers in anything bigger than 9months either and made the switch to GAP and Old Navy jammies. However, I have since learned that Children's Place makes one-piece jammies in those sizes.

I may try TCP again, but he is so big, they always seem tight (or too long). I found some Carter's ones but they were fleece, which is too hot for here. Thanks for the info. I'm so sad to be moving out of this stage already!

Osh Kosh has sleepers that are the same roomy snap up style as Carter's. I got them at the outlet. But i haven't really seen them in any of the department stores that carry Osh Kosh.
The other one piece sleepers that you find, are usually zip up and are the tighter "sausage" cut. I highly recommend the Osh Kosh if you're trying to stick with that same Carter's style.

I saw up to 3T sized Carter's sleepers at Kohl's. (They were huge!)
Enjoy!

Once you get to the 12 month size, the flammability laws kick in. The pajamas must be either non-flammable (like polyester, or treated cotton) or snug fitting. So it gets very hard to find loose cotton pjs in those sizes!

I just bought some size 18 months and 2T at Macy's and at Costco. Also, I have seen them at the Carter's outlets.

We have the fleece Carter's sleepers in 18M and I know they have larger sizes at the outlet by us.

A friend emailed Carters about this a while back and the response from them was that the Terry and Cotton sleepers are only made up to 9 months for 2 reasons. One is flammability laws as Lori mentioned and the other reason they cited was difficulty with the non-skid material for the feet soles in combination with the terry material. The fleece sleepers are available up to 3T, however.
We use the Children's Place stretchies and size up a bit for the spring through fall, and then Carter's or Lands End fleece in the winter.

Thanks, Daniele. Fleece is just way too hot for where we live. I will definitely head to TCP or Gap soon for some new cotton sleepers.

The Osh Kosh are either Cotton Knit, or Cotton Terry.

Thank you for the recommendation! I will definitely look for Osh Kosh, although I have never seen them before.

I'm pretty sure we have some Carter's fleece one-pice footed pajamas in 4T also. I size up so they aren't tight-fitting. Don't tell on me!
I remember being sad when DS outgrew the terrycloth ones because I liked them so much. Just picked up some in girly colors for DD on the way. :)

I am in the same boat as you (DS is 6 months old and needs 12 month carters sleepers) - and the answer I found is no, they don't make the snap up sleepers past 9 months. I bought the fleece zip up sleepers and they are tight on DS's ankles! I ended up moving into the 2 piece style PJ's- but after reading reccs here, I will try Osh Gosh.

I was disappointed in not being able to find Carter's sleepers in bigger sizes, too, so I bought 3 12m Osh Kosh sleepers (at a boardie's suggestion) and I am IN LOVE! I've just bought three more in size 18m - and they go all the way up to 24m! Hanna zippers are ok, but I needed something with feet, and not as body-hugging as the other things available (TCP, for example) I highly recommend OshKosh.

I'll have to try OshKosh too. I'm so sad that my 10 month old doesn't fit in his Carters anymore -- I really like that they're so easy to get on and off, and they're not as tight (or as expensive) as Hannas.

The only place that I've seen the Osh Kosh sleepers are at the Osh Kosh outlets.

Our costco has them for about $7. Seems like a great price to me!

Amy,
I totally agree with you!
I was bummed when I couldn't find the Carter's sleepers in
bigger sizes. So, I walked about 5 stores down the outlet
mall to the Osh Kosh store.
We have about 10 - 18 months sleepers with the feet. And
they are not body-hugging.
I really love the Osh Kosh brand!!
