What is your baby boy going to wear home from the hospital?

My son will be born in late May or early June and I am looking for something special for him to wear home from the hospital. Something nice but also soft and comfortable.
Any ideas?

He wore a very nice sleeper from Absorba, matching little cardigan, and matching hat :)

My son wore a set that my brother and his wife had sent us. It was a matching hat, pants, shirt, and cardigan from Sweet Potatoes. It was very soft and kept my son warm on the way home. I also love the Hanna Andersson baby clothes, very soft and cute. My son wore their zipper sleepers for a long time. Macys also has some great baby clothes that would be great as going home outfits too.

DS wore a Petit Bateau kimono and legging set. Very simple and soft. It has feet built in to the leggings, so no need to wrangle with socks. DS was born in January, but it's definitely lightweight enough for a warm-weather baby (we bundled him up in blankets).

We don't know what we're having but we are due around the same time. We ordered the kimono top and wiggle pants from HA. The side snap shirts were great on DS before his cord fell off and the baby will be warm but not too warm in it. We ordered both a pink and a blue outfit :) The item code for the top was BF30003. The best advice I was given was to get one or two preemie outfits for pictures. It really was a good idea--my son was just over 7 pounds and 20 inches, and a preemie fit him perfectly for about a month. It was nice to have something that fit well for the pics.

My son was born in late May 2003 and I think we had some sort of Absorba outfit too--a blue striped one piece with a johnny collar and a matching hat, but that was before Janie and Jack existed or that I was aware of preemie Gymbo clothes. So, I think you have more choices now even than three years ago. BTW, if you think you'll want a hat for the pic (since the nurses are always hounding you to keep a hat on your baby for warmth) you may want to get a matching hat with his outfit.
