Just wondering whether to order a dress in size 70 or 80 for DD? She's 11 months old and petite. I think she weighs about 18 or 19 lbs and is close to 30" - so this is right on the cusp of their sizes. But it's for a portrait, so I don't want it to be too big. I was thinking of getting the 70, esp. since it's a dress. She wears 6-12 months or 12-18 months in BabyGap and still fits in 6-12 month Old Navy.
Thanks!

I think the size 70 would work fine.

What dress is it specifically?

My DD will be 11 months this week. She's 20.4 lbs and 29". She fits in her 70's with room to grow. I purchased some of the sale items in size 80 for the fall, just to give you an idea.

I would do a 70 as well. The hanna stuff shrinks over a few washes. I have a 70 playdress set I got on ebay (used) and it fits perfect. I bought a new playdress set 3 months ago and washed it once, and it fits much more roomy. My DD is 11.5 months, around 18.5 lbs. and 29 inches also. I'd do a 70 for sure!

I'd go with 70 (if the dress has short or no sleeves), too, if you want it to fit now. My DD just turned 1, 22lbs,30 inches. We just bought a bunch of 80s and they are huge on her (all short or no sleeves). I asked what dress it was because we have a size 70 hidden cottage dress,(I believe), long sleeve, and the sleeves are too short now. HTH!
