Pedoodles help needed

I adore the Flutterby sandals from Pedoodles.

My dd foot is just 1/8" shy of 5". Should I go to the next size up??

Large 12 - 18 Months
5.0" Inches US Size 4 - 5.5


X-Large 18 - 24 Months
5.6" Inches US Size 5.5 - 7

She won't be wearing them until May. She is 16 months old. Any BTDT experience? An extra 1/2" seems like a lot and the range of size 5.5 - 7 seems like a wide range. She takes about a 4 1/2 - 5 right now or 12/18 months in Robeez with room at the toes.

I haven't had much luck with Pedoodles. I have bought them twice and it seems like they are always too small. So I would size up. Both times I bought Pedoodles we wore them once, she grew a smidge and they were too small. The SKRs we have for months and months but no luck with the Pedoodles!

I think that the trick for getting the most value out of Pedoodles is to buy them when the child is at the small end of the size range! I don't think that I'd would have loved the pairs my DD had nearly as much if they hadn't fit for very long!

I also vote for the next size up pair ...

We have those sandals (in boy colors) for DS. I bought them when he was wearing a size 6 shoe. They were so big he couldn't have worn them. I didn't send them back, because I thought we still had some time before warm weather. If I get a chance I'll try them on him now and report back. His feet are average in width and I thought the sandals were a bit wide.

When I bought them, DS had been totally out of 12-18 robeez for months.

Hmmm..what size Pedoodles did you buy? So you're saying the sizes are bigger than stated?
