Grandparents want to get a Christmas gift for DS for under $50. I found this Radio Flyer wagon on sale:

http://www.redwagons.com/radioflyer/mod11walwag.html

Any opinions if it's okay? I'm torn between that one and this one:

http://www.redwagons.com/radioflyer/rafl12wawawi.html

The big difference seems to be the "resist 'push' feature."

We have carpet in most of the house, if that is a consideration. Of course, we will be moving next summer, and I do plan to look for a house with wood floors in at least some rooms.

TIA

I don't have either one of these, but the first one was on my original xmas list for ds. I thought it did have a resistance feature on the back wheels. I was going with the first one because it was going to work out to around $42 with shipping so it would have been a savings of about $20. Redwagons seems to have the best price on these items and (you probably know this already) if you order use the code First10 to save 10%.

Trish,
Thanks! I didn't know about the resistance feature - or the coupon!

Hmmm... I just went on the site and didn't see anything about the resistance feature. I am not sure where I saw that or if I misunderstood something. The thread I got the idea from is here http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=12&topic_id=9710&mode=full

Hi,

I have the first wagon. Ours don't have any resist-push feature, then again, it's more than 3 years old.

I love the look of it, but my kids (4 and 20 months) never was interested in it. But they were never interested in any walkers, so that may be why? On the other hand, it holds all the wooden blocks so it's working out fine in our household.
