i remember those from when i was a child. little man whacked himself on the head with the wooden mallet one at hearthsong.

We have a Little Tykes one that has a plastic mallet that is attached by a string. My mom bought it at a garage sale, so it may be a discontinued style, but I just thought I'd tell you that Jacob loved it, even though right now his favorite thing to do with it is to suck on the mallet! He is mesmerized and smiles & laughs like crazy when we play it for him. Definitely a worthwhile toy!
