Outdoor wide driveway blocker/gate

We have a fairly long driveway to play in, but I would like to have something at the end of it so my 19 month old can't run into the street. I have seen the plastic child forms that caution cars to go slow, but has anyone seen a kind of barrier for the driveway end?

This won't block the driveway enough for him to not be able to get past it, but it is pretty long (40") And makes a very obvious driveway barrier.
