When to start using Miracle Blanket?

I definitely want to order one. #3 is due any day now, and I've been ordering a lot online. I was going to wait to spare the credit card a while.
Is the blanket something you can use from day one? Or do you start using it when the baby is a few weeks old?

We started pretty soon after we took DS home from hospital. It was super and we loved them!

We're bringing one to the hospital! Swaddling is helpful from the very beginning (since they are used to the constraint in the womb), and we had marginal luck swaddling last time with hospital blankets.

ok.. convinced.. i will order mine soon! i wasn't too great of a swaddler w/ the last 2, and i will need a 'miracle' with a new baby and 2 little ones running around. ha ha! i'm also reading 'happiest baby on the block'. :-)

That's my plan too. I remember trying to get DS swaddled in the hospital blankets and it never worked very well for us. The nurses were better though.
