My sil had a potty seat that fits under (or on top of) your toilet seat, but it's installed there, you don't keep taking it on and off the toilet, you just flip it up and down as needed.
Can anyone help me find a seat like this, the brand name or an online retailer? I like the idea of not having to store a potty seat and just leaving it on the toilet.
Thanks!

Amazon sells it as well.

We have the Safety 1st One Step Trainer:

It has worked very well for us and was only $6. I don't know if it works on elongated as we have it on a standard toilet.

There was a thread on favorite potty seats a few weeks ago. My favorite one is similar to what you've described at your SIL's house. Here's what I posted:
At first, we bought the flip-n-flush from One Step Ahead (http://tinyurl.com/2kuug2). It attaches to a regular toilet between the cover and the seat. I liked that it was easy to flip down when needed and that I didn't have to store it somewhere. But when the flip-n-flush is up, it can be a little uncomfortable when using the regular toilet seat if you need to lean back.
So we ended up buying something similar but better at Target. We replaced the entire toilet seat and the potty seat fits smoothly into the toilet lid. It's easy to use and cost about $20. It looks like this one http://tinyurl.com/3xgqe9, but I don't think ours is a "potty pal" brand. We like it a lot, and other parents that come to our house have asked us where we got it.

We also started with the flip n' flush, and it was fine until DS started to stand to pee... because of the attachment, the whole seat wouldn't stay in the upright position for a boy to stand. So we ended up with the Potty Pal and it's great. We have one in each bathroom and I love not having to move the seat on and off the toilet (gross!)

I saw this one posted before (in the Lounge, I think): http://www.us.kohler.com/onlinecatalog/detail.jsp?from=thumb&frm=&module=Toilet+Seats&item=10453102&prod_num=4732§ion=2&category=14 (Transitions seat by Kohler).
No splash guard seems to be the downside, but the no-need-to-store factor might outweigh that.

Hi,
Could you tell me which section in Target you found it in? With the bathroom fixtures or kid's stuff?
I keep looking in all my Targets but haven't seen it yet. I'm not even sure what to ask the salespeople.
Thanks,
We got a toilet seat that has a small diameter seat that fits between the regular one and the lid. You use it instead of a regular seat/lid. We got it in the toilet seat section of Target.

They were in the bathroom fixtures section with all the other toilet seats. They seemed to be some kind of generic Target brand, and there were a few different styles of white toilet seats, including these with an extra potty seat insert.
I just looked for my receipt and found that we bought them in August last year, so I guess it's possible Target no longer carries the toilet seat. Here's the item number from my receipt: 097080704. Each seat was $19.99.

That sounds just like the toilet seat that we bought.

Thank you so much for the detailed info.
I will try all our Targets again with the number and see if it helps.
