I know about the SE from this board, and that Britax has new seats coming out, and also that they are slow to release new models.
My 2.5 yr old is just over 35 lbs and starting to near the top of the seat. My 6 month old is getting to the limits of her infant carrier, so we want to move her to the RA (or replace the RA with a new one, since I heard they redesigned the latches) and get a new seat for the older child.
Is there anything other than size/weight, airplane unsuitability and lack of LATCH compatibility that makes the SE a "bad" choice?
I firmly believe that the RA is the safest convertible seat out there, and would like to stay within the Britax line.
Finally, why do they pronounce it "bright-ax" and not "brit-ax" like "Great Britain"? :)
