Hi! I'm a mom-to-be looking for an infant car seat. I'm wondering if anyone has any feedback as to what seat fits best into a 2000 Toyota Solara? The car seat data website has no info on this vehicle. I sure would appreciate any advice! Thanks, tmcgee99

Since there is no info in the database, I'd start with the good-old Graco SnugRide (any model with a front harness adjuster). The adjuster won't help it fit, just make it far easier to use. But the SnugRide has a very good track record of fitting and being easy for parents to use, and use correctly.

And when you find out if something fits, let me know and the database WILL have something on that car!

Oh, and you might also do a search on that car for any seats and see if you can get clues about what fit problems other folks might have had, even if it isn't for an infant seat. Sometimes that works.

Wow! Thanks for responding so quickly! My husband and I are going to Babies R Us this weekend, or the next, to look at infant car seats. We're hoping that they'll let us try to fit a few choices in our car in the parking lot. Everyone says to try it before you buy it, but we'll see... Anyway, since you've been so kind, I'll certainly keep you updated on what we find! Thanks, again!
