I posted about this on the BC car seat baord as well - but I'm not sure if heather or anyone will see it there ... so I'll try here too.
I have a U.S. Maxi Cosi Priori that one of the kids broke the EPS foam (along the back portion) in half.
I've tried numerous times to get a replacement from coso/dorel/etc USA and have been unsuccessful.
Soooooo .. I asked someone we know over seas to order us spare Priori parts (new foam and new harness). They are using their seat numbers to get the parts.
When we visited them last year we used their seat once and it was the EXACT same seat as ours .. only the Euro version with no chest clip - but everything else was identical.
So ... is it OK to use these parts - or should I really try harder to get some from dorel usa?
Right now the EPS foam is taped together - and DH is working a lot this month, so DD won't be and hasn't ridden with him much since it broke.
