Hello
Haven't been here in ages.

OK, so here is my question. I recently received two new Britax Regents (Classic) from TinyRide.com. We got one for DS #1 (age 5.5 years) and DS #2 (age 3.5 yrs) was so jealous - he just HAD to have one. It actually worked out as I sold DS #1's Marathon to a neighbor, and moved DS #2's Wizard into DH's car.

We are loving them. However, not so much one of them - specifically the harness. It is longer on one side than the other???? I have never had this occur with a Britax seat before. I pulled the harness out, pulled it back in, it retracts OK. Looked at the yoke thing in the back. Nothing obvious to me.

I called Britax today; after 25 min on hold I gave up. I emailed TinyRide. Their rep said they would exchange it for me.

Should I send it back to TinyRide or is there something I should try first???

Other than that, this seat is da bomb! Oh, I was a little puzzled about the long and short versions of the install with seatbelts. What is up with that?

Thank you!
Karen

It could be flawed, yeah... they whipped the Classics out just to meet high demand, there's even been a recall on the cover. I'm sure it's safe, but there could be just some little 'thing' making it not work right, so might as well trade it in.

thanks Julie.

Is there a tradeoff for the different belt path routing (long and short)???

Nope, as long as it's top tethered, you should just use whichever path gives you the tightest installation (I think only the short is approved for lap-only belts, though, just fwiw).
