I am expecting #2 in February. DD will be almost 3.5 at that time, and she is a real stroller kid, naps in it and likes to ride in it (unless she's running off in all directions LOL). I am a SAHM and we are pretty active. I'm sure things will slow down with #2, but I will still need to take them out to the park, shops, and we travel quite a bit so we'd be lugging it around a lot. We go to zoos, theme parks, you name it, so I can see the older one needing a stroller to sit in when she gets tired, and to contain her in busy places! I don't think the buggy board attachment would work for us. And I can't see myself wearing the baby trekker all the time for the little one, though I do love it for occasional use!
I am beginning to shop around for a double stroller. I have a pretty good idea of what features I want, but it's been a while since I went stroller shopping, and I noticed there are lots of new models. At this point I want to find out what's available but I won't buy something until next year.
I would like something that is lightweight and as compact as a double can be (some of those are real monsters LOL), side by side but still goes through doorways, at least one car seat attachment, both seats recline.. that's my wish list :) btw, DD is on the small side for her age (currently 25 lbs. at 35 months, and petite)
The combi twin savvy seems to fit the bill. Doesn't it accept a car seat? I love my single ultra savvy, so I was leaning towards the twin model. BUT I was wondering if there is anything comparable on the market, esp. newer models.
Did I give ya enough information?? LOL
TIA for your ideas, Kris
