Belly Basics Diaper Satchel

Anyone own this bag? I saw a mom with it today in the drugstore and it's simply gorgeous! It's the exact size I've been searching for! It's nice and large but oh so chic!! I just have to find one to inspect the inside!!

Anyone know who carries Belly Basics besides Bloomies and Nordstroms? They don't have this bag yet. I know babystyle.com has it, but I must see it and inspect fully in real life to commit to the hefty price. From what I can tell, it appeared to look lighter than the Coach bag plus it hung on her shoulder more compact than the Coach.

Any info would be appreciated!

Quite a few places on the internet carry this bag. I looked it up a few days ago because I saw it in the latest Fit Pregnancy. Oh, just looked it up on eBay and there's one for $68.99 BIN! Thanks for announcing it to the whole world Lara!!! :) I was hoping no one would discover it on ebay for that price until I had a chance to run to a store to inspect the insides of the bag!! (lol)

I have to admit, I noticed it in Fit Pregnancy too, but just passed by it without interest. When I saw it today in person it was so attractive. The pictures do it no justice. It’s not a typical blah bowling bag. It’s quite “tall” for a bowling bag in person. I would never be interested in it based on internet or catalog pictures only. It’s one of those items you just have to see in person.

Ok, this is totally off topic to your post, but did you see that the Combi Deluxe Tote is on the Combi website, in their outlet store for only $24. If you already knew this, sorry, but I didn't know if you were still looking at this bag too.

BTW, if I were looking at it and loved it as much as you think you do, I'd go ahead and buy it! If you don't like it, you could always turn around and resell it! ;)

Thanks Beth, I did see that from another post. Some one had mentioned that it's EXACTLY like the Ultimate Gap Bag (which I sorta like) but the Combi isn't at all like the Gap bag inside I discovered this yesterday.

The Combi Tote is really a regular tote bag (which is nice if that's what you want). But it has no interrior storage compartments (I'm talking those mini compartments all diaper bags have). Granted, the Gap is over-organized inside with pockets no one knows what to do with.

Ughh - it's either all or nothing sometimes, you know!!

I was just joking!! :) I like the bag, but I'm the type who needs to decide on a bag. I have this handbag and shoe thing and I can't just rush into major purchases. I live 3 blocks away from Bloomies and I'm the type when I see a new Kate Spade bag I have to "visit" it a few times before I purchase it. I have to really think will this work for me? Will I love it forever even if next season it's out of style?? Is it worth me spending $$$ on it?? I'm a complete nut with handbags and shoes. But once I buy something usually I do love it forever. I have a Fendi wallet that was the first major thing I purchased when I starting working. I spent $260 on it over 10 years ago and to this day it's my favorite wallet. I just can't use anything else. It's been sent to Italy twice for repair!! (My logic is hey $260 over 10 years and still going is worth the money overall!)

I'm now on a quest for the Gucci Belt Bag. I'm try to convince DH I NEED this to contain my belongings while having baby in a Bjorn or if I happen to fill the diaper bag with baby's stuff - oh where oh where is mom's stuff going to go???? Solution - the Belt Bag. Fashionable and safe on mom's waist. This is on my xmas list, so let's see how it goes. If I get this I might be able to live with only the combi urban sling!! :):)

I didn't think of this all by myself.:) I have to admit I discovered Kelly Ripa in last weeks premier edition of "In Touch" magazine. (it's just like US Weekly and People only $1.99) Well, Kelly was holding her two children in Dylan's candy bar and on her waist was the Gucci Belt Bag! I told DH, see that's the lastest mommy accessory!! Hey, he might buy that line!!!
