I am looking at the Graco Cirrus and the saftey first alimilite. I know the Graco has the better car seat, but the saftey first is half the price. I don't really know anything about the saftey first brand. So I need help in deciding which is the best.

Honestly around here people are not too fond of travel systems! Most people buy the graco Sungride infant seat and a stroller that is compatible...
options that offer an adapter bar are
Peg Perego Pliko
Inglesina Zippy
Combi Perfect match... Ultra Savvy or the convenience line
As far as travel systems go I think the only one around here that people tend to like are the graco Metrolite travel system. A lot of people have been opting for a Snap and Go or Kolcraft universal Care seat carrier which is a frame with basket and cup holder that will accomodate the infant car seat.... when baby outgrows it you will know what type of stroller you really need and can buy it then... then you won't have to worry if it is infant seat compatible!
Good Luck... hope that helps!

Hi Tiffs
I am not very familiar with Graco strollers but my friend has a quattro and it looks very nice. It folds very easy and the best part is that the only thing that touches the floor when folded are the wheel. I thought that was fantastic.
Do you have a budget? What are you looking for in a stroller?
I think the best thing to do is to find the car seat that is best for you and that fits your car and then get a stroller. Sometimes travel systems don't have very nice carseats IMO. I know the snugride gets good reviews so if that's the one you like go for it and then find a stroller that you REALLY like.
DS used his infant carseat for only 4 months only. after that I was left with a BAD stroller that I hated so much I ended up giving it away, free LOL

Safety First is a Cosco-brand stroller and carseat - skip it! Cosco is pretty terrible - most of what it produes tends to be junk and their recallrecord is atrocious. Travel systems look attractive but most people find that they don't work or hold up over the long haul. Strollers like Peg Perego, Combi, Maclaren, and Inglesina tend to work the best overall. Paying a little more money for your strolller is well worth it in the long run - you don't want to be like me and buy 12 strollers before finding what works best for you - LOL!!! Good luck!
