Okay, I HAVE to make a decision. I know one stroller won't do it all and I'm prepared to buy 2. The lightweight one for the car and mall trips is not so tough to figure out. My main everyday one is tougher.

My main stroller will get a lot of use and over varied terrain. I won't be hiking or taking it on sand but my town has areas that are like city sidewalks, areas with bumpy, uneven sidewalks and park areas with gravel paths. I also like to be able to stop in cafes, go to the Post Office, etc while out. Plus, my house has three steps I have to go up/down.

I like the MBUS but wish my baby could sit up straighter and that it had a napper bar. Plus, I'm concerned about its size with regard to going indoors.

The Zooper Sport seems perfect, except I'm concerned about the weight going up and down my steps. Wish I could wait for the new Zoopers but this baby is fast outgrowing the UCSC.

If I forget the heavy air tires, I like the Camden but I'm not sure I like the lack of the legrest. Plus, it's so new that the jury is still out. I figure it's a better second/indoor stroller anyway. May get it for that purpose. But do you Camden owners think it could handle my everyday use?

If I really splurged, would the bugaboo do it all?

Any ideas or other suggestions? Thanks!!

Hmm...well you know all of them seem pretty nice ;) But each serves somewhat of a different purpose.

I've got the mbus, seen the sport{had a z-street before} and not seen a camdem.

As for steps, guess i'm paranoid 'cause i don't trust strollers on them no matter what type/style they are... :o

One thing that bugs me about the sport is it's weight @ 24lbs i find that super heavy...and yeah for those who know me..this is coming from somebody who owns a PiXXel and a MBDU both over 30lbs models lol :P However i still find for what your getting outta the sport it needn't be so heavy.

Camden my worry is the lack of thigh support i sorta like that on full sized strollers, lightweight compact types it's something less common you know you get used to not having it? however this is a personal thing rather than a set in stone bad thing :)

Now as to the mbus your right she is on the wider side however i wouldn't say it's impossible to get about indoors with, i do all the time, i find the width in the back aids in it's great stability. however it isn't for everyone either as it's very much a KISS plan stroller ;)

You had the chance to test drive any of these? many times that is the best help in making a choice since afterall personal choice plays a large role in peoples stroller choices.

GL :)

Haven't been able to test drive. I'm far from the fancy strollers.

I agree about the worry of steps. The thing is that my little guy falls asleep in the stroller so I may have to lug him and it up those steps. That's my main concern wiht weight.

I hear great things about the MBUS but wonder about that recline. Also, is it what I need since I will NEVER jog or do any really heavy duty stuff wiht it.

I am attracted to a more traditional stroller type configuration like the Zooper but, like you, feel it's heavy.

Any other ideas? Peg Atlantico Sportivo???

OK- Just to confuse you more I'm gonna throw in another possible stroller suggestion (sorry :) ) Have you looked at the Kiwi E3? They look VERY cool and I have been drooling over one for the past month (DH is not nearly as excited about it as me and still needs to be convinced that we need it). It is a 3 wheel all terrain stroller and like the MBUS it has a front swivel wheel and is approx. the same wgt.

I don't know if you have more than one child, but the E3 has a great option of adding a second seat. With the doubles kit it can hold a toddler and a newborn or 2 toddlers. Even without the doubles kit it fully reclines (actually it zips out) to hold a NB. Here's a great link with reviews, it will make more sense than my description:

From what I've read on this board most people really seem to like it, but a small few have said that it can be a little tippy with a baby in the back and an active in and out of the front seat toddler.

HTH, but it probably didn't. I want an E3 so bad and I must live vicariously through others if they purchase it :) Good luck.

The slant on the seat can be an issue for some kids, unfortunately really all jogger/3wheel style strollers have this.

You know where my MBUS has been in the past months? the mall! :D
It's not exactly roughin it lol...however i do understand some are not fond of the more rugged design of the 3 wheelers ;)

The atlantico is a nice stroller, had one. The only thing i didn't like about it was the bulky fold...and since i already had the MBUS i chose to sell the atlantico and just stick to the mbus it works best for me.

I like the atlantico over the sport, you get less weight about 17lbs or so plus the cute handy gadjets{trays etc} the basket is bigger too :) I too had the sportivo it has a great raincover! hood is also fab on the stroller...i agree have a look at it lol

I'd get one and wait for the Zoopers to come out for the second. If you want the Camden as your lightweight go for it. I haven't seen it IRL, but from what I know, I'm with Pamela in that the only thing it lacks is more leg support, but that is a choice thing. If your child wouldn't mind, it shouldn't be a deal-breaker.

BTW, how old is your child?

I love the MB, but I think you concerns are valid. Forget jogging, if you will never do anything rough and don't yearn for something all-terrainish for the zoo and park it may not be for you... I think the Camden will probably fine on outdoor sidwalks for a couple of months, particularly during the winter when you probably do a lot indoors... . 7"-8" wheels are pretty large! They should be fine.

I agree with Pamela as well that the Sport is way to heavy for a stroller which is really designed like a mid-weight... I have a friend with one and never found the air tires made that big of a difference. My Zippy could pretty much go everywhere the Sport went including snow, slush, gravel...

I'm also not real keen on pulling babies up stairs in strollers. Maybe something with much larger wheels and/or a more solid frame, but I certainly wouldn't do it in a Zooper sport.

As for the Bugaboo- if your lifestyle is pretty urban and you do most of your running around on foot, it might be ideal. It isn't the greatest if you do a ton of in/out of a car stuff b/c of the 2 part fold, though it would be fine for the occasional trip here and there.

Good luck. Stephanie
