An ebay seller "maxoty" has great prices on strollers. Does anyone know if this person is reputable, or whether it's too good to be true?

I was looking at the Mac techno's that he has on ebay. BUT I read that they are European specs, and I wasn't really sure what that meant. If I am going to spend that much money on a stroller, I am not willing to take a chance on it. Plus if I don't like it, what would the recourse be? Just my thoughts though....

I'm not sure all of the strollers are European specs, but I think that must mean they use European hardware. For instance, nuts and bolts would be in millimeters/centimeters rather than inches. Those are more difficult to come by here. I'm not sure what other differences would be.

I purchased a 2003 TT from him in Feb. The stroller was brand new in the box. If I remember correctly, he didn't take PayPal so I mailed him a money order and I received the stroller shortly after he received it. I ended up using the stroller once, it was very nice, but I sold it to get the Kiwi E3 as the E3 suited my needs better. I can't give you input on how it would be dealing with a problem. HTH

I was going to bid on a 2004 P3 in Metropolis. I emailed him and the only difference in the European specs to American specs was that the model did not have a snack tray or drink holder. I was going to bid but got to thinking of warranty and authorized retailer issues and with shipping the price was not any cheaper than www.arunningstrollercom or www.babyuniversecom or www.thebabyoutlet.com. Ordered instead from one of those.

I don't have any personal experience but you might try asking this question on the Stroller Swap Board.

I bought a Quest from them. When it arrived (fast shipping) the hood was broken. I mailed it back to them and they lost it in there wherehouse for a couple of weeks..... they did find it and send me a new one, but I had to bug them a bit.

Oh they did take Paypal when I bought my stroller.

In the past, you wouldn't get a warranty with a stroller purchased from them. They say that they give you a one year warranty themselves, but what if they disappear? I'd only do it if I were saving a LOT of money.
