Just wondering if anyone here has this yet. We have yet to move into our Silver Cross Camden (DD is still in snugride/kolcraft combo) but I've already got my eye on the pink micro.
Anyone have it?
Also, is it a good idea to have a smaller stroller in addition to the plusher Camden? I think so...let's convince DH.

Well, you wouldn't use the Micro before 6 months at minimum and then probably not for a while after that, with no recline it's not for babies. I'm looking at the micro as well but waiting, DS is 10 months and I don't feel like he's quite ready for a stroller without a napper/tray in front of him even though he likes sitting upright. I think he would be straining against the harness constantly.
I do think I will end up getting it, though, because for short trips into stores, now that he's nearly 25 lbs, I can't really carry him easily and I would love a super lightweight but still nice stroller to pop out of the trunk and plop him into. (My main stroller is a Zooper ZStreet which is not that heavy but just heavy enough to make me think twice about getting it out when dashing in somewhere.)
Plus for the price the Micro is great and you can get that cute pink one! (I'm jealous, I have to go with either the red or the Ascot.)
I think a couple of people have one but I haven't seen any reviews yet. Strollerqueen tried it out on her obstacle course and it didn't do all that well so it's not going to be great on rough pavement or in a park, but for mall/stores it's probably fine.

Here's a link to a review I wrote of mine. Also, if you do a search here, you'll probably find a few other reviews of it. I love ours, BTW :)

Thanks, ladies!
I realized I wouldn't use it until 6 months--I didn't realize that it might be much later that I'd want to use it though. Good to know.
I'm off to read the review!
Thanks again.

We really like ours but it is a bit slumpy, which comes with the umbrella territory. Toby is 17 months and it just starting to be our most used stroller- until now it was too slumpy and we reached for the bigger more plush stroller.
It is a good idea to have both becuase sometimes the bigger stroller is best (longer rides, younger baby) and sometimes you need the portable nature of the compact one! Not news to you but fodder for your DH! Once your baby is older, the bigger stroller will be used less and less.

Yes, it is fine. I still love mine, too. But I think the Mini is a lot better outdoors. It also has some recline, so you could use it sooner than the Micro.

I have the silver cross camden and my smaller stroller is the Mac quest -which is still in the box! So I just wanted to agree with Marilee, you won't use the smaller stroller till your DD is older and by then you may find something you love more than the micro!

Thanks for the additional input. This really is interesting--learn something new everyday. I really thought that since the strollers said "6 mo. and up" that I'd start wanting one about then, but it sounds like it'll be much later. Cool.
