Hello!

We're currently expecting #2. DD will be 13 months when #2 arrives, so we're looking at double strollers. I did all the research and came up with the Combi Twin or Mac TT. Went to see them IRL and DH sees the Peg Tender Twin. Decides this is what he has to have. Ugggg.

So I've found a good deal on a Martinelli Tender Twin and the ad states you can attach a Peg carseat to it. However, we have a Snugride (less than a year old! ;) ) and I need to know for sure if the Snugride will work with the Peg / Martinelli...can anyone help me out? Do I need to buy an adapter bar? It's a 2002 Martinelli we're looking at getting from babysurplus on eBay.

TIA...

Kristen (please save me from injuring DH)

Please don't waste your money. I hate that friggin stroller. I curse it every time I look at it. It is a total piece of junk. Plus, if either of your kids has any weight, if won't steer worth anything (and I am not talking the normal hard to steer of a tandem. I mean actually having to go to the front of the stroller and manually move it to where you want it to go).
This one stroller has forever put a bad taste in my mouth for PP. Although I like the P3 and have been seriously considering it for our next stroller, the nightmares about the martinelli/tender keep me up at night.
Oh, and the car seat thing... we had a PP car seat (hated that too, but it was a gift, we ended up chucking it) and it NEVER fit into the stroller. Ever. No one could make it compliant. However the snug ride did. Go figure.
Horrible horrible stroller. And the basket is a total joke, and you can't really hang things of the handle either, because it makes the already impossible to steer contraption even worse.

I don't really want it, but DH is dead set on getting it. I figure the worst I'll have to endure it is the 6 months the baby is in the carseat. I already told DH if I hate the stroller I plan on selling it and then buying one I like.

I guess the best way to put it is this...he doesn't ask for much, especially when it comes to the baby. I will humor him on this even though he's being too freakin' stubborn and illogical about it. But it's his call and I made him aware of the consequences of me buying another $300 stroller when it's all said and done.

Anywho....like I was asking...just looking for information on the Snugride with this stroller...can you tell me how it fit in? Did it snap onto anything?

TIA!
