A store in my area has just started to carry the Bugaboo and will allow me to put one on layaway. I do gave a few questions/concerns.
First of all, I have the choice between red and navy. Can anyone post pics of an IRL navy Frog? I've seen the red IRL and already know what that looks like. Also, which color is the better of the two?
Second of all, I know that the newer Frog models are coming out. Will the price of the older version decrease by much?
I have been thinking about this for over a year.I'm busting my a$$ at work-sales-to buy this stroller. Is it really a good investment? I figured that if my dds don't like it or I need some fast cash, I can sell it fairly easily. Am I right to think that? Ack..decisions, decisions....

How fun!

I haven't seen the navy in real life, but I have seen a fabric swatch. It's pretty nice, like a true navy color. I opted for the red because we live in the warm south and I avoid dark fabrics on strollers because of the heat. I also figured that if we had a girl next time, the red is both a girl and a boy color. If your baby will be eating in the stroller, that may be a consideration, since soggy Cheerio wipings really show up on dark fabrics. BUt in all honestly, I'm just a red fanatic. :) All my strollers are red!

I think, but I'm not 100% sure, that the new Cameleon and Gecko will be completely replacing the Frog, which will be discontinued. The Cameleon will be $879 and the Gecko will be $679. I have no idea if retailers will be "allowed" to discount the Frog or not. However, you may find some people selling their Frogs to "upgrade" to the new models...so you may find a bargain that way.

I know for us, the Bug has been a very sound investment. It gets used daily and I love pushing it. It navigates so smoothly and truly has the best one-hand push I've seen in a standard stroller. The bassinet is awesome, and I can't wait to finally use it with #2!

Like you said, the Bugs do have an excellent re-sale value. So, if you ever want/need to sell it, you should be able to do so fairly easily and for a good price.

I hope you don't go too crazy trying to decide! Have fun!
