I'm going on vacation next month and taking my Milano XL. Can anyone recommend a good, sturdy travel bag for it so the airline doesn't scratch it up?

TIA,

I can't really recommend a good stroller bag specifically for your stroller, but I wanted to comment that many posters used a clear raincover wrapped around their stroller with bungees to protect their stroller.

The one and only time I used a stroller bag for my brand-new P3, it ended up in the baggage claim with the suitcases because the baggage handlers obviously didn't realize that it was a stroller. That totally defeated the purpose of gatechecking my stroller.

On the way back, I just took the hood off my p3 when I gatechecked it, and it was fine. I've flown over 20 times with strollers and never had anything happen to my stroller.

Good luck!!

Hi, I have had my strollers returned to me with ripped fabric and grease while traveling by air. We are going to WDW and Lori really helped me with stroller choice - I'm planning to take a Peg Perego P3 (Lori, Peg Perego should give you a commission!! LOL).

I looked at stroller bags and read the posts here about a clear wrap with bungee cords (brilliant concept).

I had an IDEA! The Container Store has some large, clear plastic bags (Outdoor Cushion Storage Bags) that zip closed and are the perfect size for my P3. I'm going to try my stroller in that at the gate. The best part is that it only costs $10.

I'm not sure if the Milano XL would fit but the dimensions of the bag are posted at: http://www.containerstore.com/browse/Product.jhtml?PRODID=69669&CATID=243&searchId=809419&itemIndex=1

Hope you have a great trip! Audrey, mother to Graham

Hi again, My P3 fits in the $10 Container Store bag with lots of room. I tried my largest flat folding stroller also (Graco Literider) and it also fit with lots of room. I could even use the handles to lift the bag. The bag has cross fibers in it so it's even tougher than I expected. Happy shopping,

Great, thanks! I have a Container Store nearby, so I'll buy one.
