Valco Runabaout owners: how to re-air the tires??!!

i have the little pump from underneath the seat, but i can't seem to get it lined up on the air hole of the tire. the "hubcap" gets in the way. do i have to take the whole wheel off, or what? please help fast! more stroller turns like an suv now! lol.

I just had to put air in my tire for the first time yesterday. The air nozzle in the tire does pull out at an angle so as to avoid the wheel hub getting in the way.
