I haven't seen these in person. Ironically, I live in Germany and may well be ordering one from a US company, so I'm wondering what they look like.

Oasis looked like a yellow/smoky blue, but I think I may be wrong. I'm also seeing that it may be easily dirtied? Blumoon seems beautiful in the pictures, but again, that could be different IRL.

Any advice is really appreciated! Thanks!

Amy

I just purchased the P3 for my DS in BluMoon. It seems to go with more things (like diaper bags), and probably easier to clean. :)

Both of them are a heck of deal right now at www.specialtybaby.com. I just paid $209.00 TOTAL.

Hmmm...that depends on your style really. I have the Oasis and yes, the hood especially gets dirty from going in & out of the car. However, I find it pretty easy to clean, just pop off the hood and wash it with Woolite (sometimes Woolite Spray w/Oxy-clean) and I wash it in my tub with the showerhead and let it dry right in there. It sounds cumbersome but really only takes 5 minutes to wash & rinse, then as soon as it stops dripping in the tub, I let it dry in the Garage (I live in Florida so this is a quick dry-time) but usually it is good to go in an hour.
The Blue Moon is very nice & darker so won't get as dirty, but has that metallic silver material in the lining (same as the metallic Red stroller). This did not appeal to me because again, living in FL I just thinking about that material in the humidity made me sticky!
I love our P3 and so does DD, I posted a pic of her in it a while back, I will try and go back to find it. (I'm on DH's computer and the pics are on mine so I can't upload it again)
I suppose you would not have this heat problem in Germany,

Thank you so much for your input! This is exactly the stuff I need to know...

The Blumoon looks potentially very pretty. DH, who rarely has an opinion for this kind of thing, said that his favorite was Black Sable. Not really my preference, but Blumoon might be a good compromise between Black Sable and Oasis.

I just loved the way Oasis looked online, even though it turns out I'm not quite accurate on the colors. We came to Germany from Charleston, SC, and it rather reminds me of that wonderful place! (And we may be getting brought back to the STates next summer, so the heat/humidity issue may be a factor again.)

I take it the metallic lining is part of the fabric actually in contact with the bambino? That doesn't sound terribly comfortable in hot weather, you're right.
