How does the Ryder compare to the Mac Techno? Does it recline as flat? What about the hood ... is it as large? Is the basket the same? Is the fabric soft?

THANKS!

I just bought one of these (in Chestnut ... it's GORGEOUS) and it arrived yesterday (from arunningstroller.com). Took it for it's first ride yesterday at Costco and I LOVE it. I've never had a Techno (this is actually my first Mac), so I can't compare the two. Sorry. The hood is large. It comes all the way down to the seat (or a few inches above). Again, can't answer about the basket. The fabric is VERY nice, very impressed. Oh, and it does NOT recline flat (unless I wasn't trying hard enough), but it reclines enough that my son will be able to nap in it. If you want, I'll take a few pics of it for you, just not today as it's rainy outside. BTW, it does have an extendable leg rest ... the descriptions I've read for it didn't say one way or another, so I was concerned about that, but it does in fact have a leg rest.

PS: I just learned today that I can buy the hood and seat directly from Maclaren for $75. I was hesitant about buying the Chestnut, but I wanted it to match my new Fleurville Escape Pod and Sling Tote in Gold Flower. Now, if I change diaper bags for some reason, I have the ability to change my Ryder to Carbon (the black) and not have to buy a whole other stroller.

Thank you so much for this! If you have a chance to take pics, that would be GREAT! Also, is the recline flat enough to change a diaper?
