View Full Version : What are my options for hanging a diaper bag on double stroller?

Done some research here and it looks like I can either use some stroller hooks OR there are some bags made to clip onto the handles of a stroller. Which do you find works best? Is there another option that works better?

What are the best hooks? Will almost any bag work if you use one of those hooks? What are the bags that can clip on directly w/out the use of special hooks and what are your opinions on them? I know SkipHop is one of them - but they have multiple bags - Duo, dash, expo - what's the difference between them all?

FWIW, 1)I love my current diaper bag - Kecci shanghai - and wouldn't mind at all just buying the clips if that is the best 2)my stroller (Combi Twin Savvy) has the bar handle that goes across.

Sorry about the bombardment of questions, but right now my Kecci just isn't cutting it on the double stroller - won't fit in the basket (curse the small basket with the bar that goes through it!) and I don't feel like carrying it on my shoulder all the time.

Thanks.

Jennifer

I am currently using the Posh Ultimate (for two in dipes, and I'm a heavy packer), which I love! It fits perfectly on the back of my Mac TT with two caribiners through the D-rings that the messenger strap attaches to. I am not sure if this would work on other umbrella doubles, since the TT doesn't have the middle handle. I am going to be switching over to the BJCD, and I really hope I can get the caribiners on it somehow, so I can hang my bag. The complaint I've heard about stroller swivlers is that they break.

There are a number of bags that do have stroller hooks. With the skip hop, you have to unhook the messenger strap to hook on the stroller, which can be a bit of a pain, but they are great bags! They have the Duo, which is a vertical style (taller than it is long), the Expo, which is the duo but you can zip out the bottom to make it bigger and the dash, which is a horizantal organization. Two other bags to look at might be the Lexie Barnes Darling or the Fleurville Sling Tote. :)
