It does work with a Quest. They are all over NYC on the backs of Maclarens of all sizes.
My own opinion regarding whether I recommend it relates to how much you would use it. I found it uncomfortable to bend over child and buggy board to reach the stroller handles and push. I use my stroller all day long in NYC and after about a week I sold my buggy board and got a new Zippy with step which is much easier to push with a rider- however the seat can't be reclined so there are cons to that set up as well.
On the other hand, I see folks using their buggy boards lots in NYC so maybe it depends on body type? I am 5'4".
If it isnt your primary mode of transport for two kids then it will probably suit you fine. If it is your primary mode then I would check out the P3 or newer Zippys.
Also, one other problem I had with it is that you can't fold the stroller with the board attached- it had to be removed and it was a pain to do so. That said I noticed the other day that there is a new model out so perhaps they have improved on that.
I hope this helps!
