Pliko P3 MT Stroller @ Babies R Us

Looking for information on the Pliko P3 MT Stroller sold at www.babiesrus.com. Is this the same stroller as the Pliko P3 Classico shown on the www.pegperego.com website?? Just want to make sure Babies R Us has the highest quality pegs if I am going to dish out the money. Also, any thoughts on the Primo Viaggio car seat sold at Babies R Us.

Yep, looks like the same to me. Babies R Us has sold Pegs for some time.
The 2006 carseat is different from previous years (larger seat, side impact protection, more padding, new weight/height limits, new fabrics, etc).

It's a heavy seat and some people are not that keen about it. Not sure if the 2006 is as heavy as past years models. Ask in the carseat forum-those ladies (and gents) are experts :-)

I think that it is the same stroller. I bought my P3(2005) at BRU and love it. It is a great stroller. I don't know much about the Primo Viaggio car seat. We bought a Graco Snug Ride 2 and it works well with the P3 if needed. We really don't use our car seat that much with our stroller- we prefer to put DD directly in the stroller.

The car seat doesn't match the stroller perfectly, but I really don't mind as the infant car seat is used for a shorter period of time. I really didn't want to spend the $ on the Peg car seat knowing that the Graco Snug Ride 2 was half the price of the Peg car seat and is rated very high in safety.

Yes they are the same. There is a Classico version and a Freestyle version though, both sold are BRU. The Freestyle comes in pink, mint, and anice (light blue). They are the same as the classico except the hood is a bit different. The Freestyle has two peekaboo windows on the side whereas the Classico version has one large mesh one on the top.
I agree with the other poster about the Primo Viaggio car seat. The Snugride (we have the one with larger height/weight limits also) is rated so highly for a much better price than the Primo V. Our snugride can click right into the P3 if you lift up slightly on the end of the tray. The P3 also comes with a universal infant seat strap if you want the extra security.
