Background- I have a twin aria and haven't used it in months... I am 7 months pg and cannot lift the girls so I put them in the stroller the other day and they are too heavy for it- feels like they are dragging their feet on the wheels. I have a 03 Dreamer Design but it is hard to fold and take with us. SO, I am in search of a new stroller. I THINK that I have narrowed it down to the Bob. I know the Baby Jogger folds easier but it is wider and wont fit through doors.

Bottom line- I want something that folds easy, fits through doorways and has a 100+ weight limit. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

The hard part for you may be that if you have used a AT for so long, everything else may seem heavy and difficult, though almost ANYTHING else will be much, much easier to steer. The fold on the Aria is pretty easy and it is so light.

I sold my AT after using it for only one week with my then 1 yr old twins.

The BJ City is pretty popular on this board. You might post a specific question about it and see what difficulties have ben experienced. I don't recall any griping about doorways, but I haven't paid that close of attention.

A Maclaren double might be the easiest option.

I use a Mountain Buggy Urban with my girls which I love. The fold isn't too tricky, but because it is so much heavier than the Aria, it is harder to load in my SUV. I used it since birth with my girls- the good thing is that it has an adapter for a carseat and is reclines enough for a newborn so that te baby could ride with a twin while the other either walks or rides on an attached board.

A Valco w/ a todlerseat may also work for you, though I wouldn't say it has a great fold.

Just wondering - if you can't lift your twins, can you lift a 30-35lb stroller? Most of the doubles weigh that much (Aria and Combi are exceptions, plus a few others). I had to watch my lifting when pg with DS2, and definitely could not have handled most of the doubles out there.

I have 21 month old twin boys who weigh 33 & 31 pounds each. I just sold my Mac Twin Traveller (Techno) because they were a little cramped and seemed to be uncomfortable riding in it. I loved the stroller and hated parting with it but we hadn't used it in months. I've been using my Graco DuoGlider and have been pleasantly surprised by how dependable it has been...we've had it since they were born. I did see a Combi twin at BRUS the other day, DH put the boys in it and it seemed roomy. BUT I think the max weight is about 45 pounds each...wondering how long it'll be before we hit that?!

Anyway, we have a BOB Revolution and it has been great around the neighborhood. It fits through my front door but is a little bulky to use on errands. When DH folded it he first removed the tires, then pulled on a couple of things before he could get it to fold flat. He actually broke a sweat the first time. I love the way it rides but really don't see us taking it anywhere but to parks and zoos.

So, I say if you're going to use it on errands get a Graco or Combi. If it's for around the neighborhood, get the BOB or BJ.

Good luck!
