I have officially become a stroller addict without 1) having even purchased a stroller yet and 2) not even having had my first child yet! I am overwhelmed and obsessed and would appreciate any advice.

I THINK it's between a 2007 BOB Revolution and an '06 Mountain Buggy Urban Single -- they're about the same price. Trouble is, I live in a rural area and neither are available to see in person. Here's what we need:
- a stroller for tall people. I'm 5'9, my DH is 6'3 and we both have long strides. It's so worth the extra expense to not kick the stroller!
- something for a newborn, which is why we would spend the extra for the '07 BOB -- for the recline. Is one better for the recline feature? Our baby is due in March.
- we would use this as our main stoller. We would walk the dog and exercise, including occasional jogging, on rocky areas and sidewalks. We would also use this for running errands and indoor use.
- resale value would be a bonus

While both have great reviews, it seems those with the MBUS are REALLY passionate about their love of it. But I worry about the smaller sun shade, the lack of accessories and the lack of padding. I'm concerned about the width of the BOB and the handlbar height.

And finally, are we making a mistake not looking at a general stroller like the P3?

I'm really trying to justify the extra cost of these more expensive strollers and want to make the right decision. And I read over and over on this board and other that you get what you pay for. If it's worth it, I'm willing to spend the money, but if there is something else comparable, I'd love to hear that too. And again, since we can't test in person, your feedback is really important. Thank you so much in advance!

Hi -- first time soon-to-be-dad here and would love some help too.

We are in a similiar position with our needs you listed. Wife and I went to Babies R Us today and drove a Peg P3 after reading all the great reviews here -- but we both are tall and kicked it. I think only a 3-wheel will fit our long strides.

So we moved to the Baby Trend Expedition LX ($150). It seemed pretty nice but it doesn't seem like it will work with a newborn since it doesn't have a carseat adaptor and doesn't recline enough.

We then went to a bike store where they had a 2006 BOB Revolution. We liked it better -- it seemed more sturdy and turned great. I know the 2007's recline more and it has a carseat adaptor -- but is it worth the $200 more than the Baby Trend? The canopy was cool but my wife noticed the basket under the seat seemed kind of small.

My wife keeps talking about a Mountain Buggy too, but there is no place around here that sells it, so if we splurge for one, it will have to be unseen. That's a pretty big investment, so your opinions really matter.

Thanks.
