I have officially become a stroller addict without 1) having even purchased a stroller yet and 2) not even having had my first child yet! I am overwhelmed and obsessed and would appreciate any advice.
I THINK it's between a 2007 BOB Revolution and an '06 Mountain Buggy Urban Single -- they're about the same price. Trouble is, I live in a rural area and neither are available to see in person. Here's what we need:
- a stroller for tall people. I'm 5'9, my DH is 6'3 and we both have long strides. It's so worth the extra expense to not kick the stroller!
- something for a newborn, which is why we would spend the extra for the '07 BOB -- for the recline. Is one better for the recline feature? Our baby is due in March.
- we would use this as our main stoller. We would walk the dog and exercise, including occasional jogging, on rocky areas and sidewalks. We would also use this for running errands and indoor use.
- resale value would be a bonus
While both have great reviews, it seems those with the MBUS are REALLY passionate about their love of it. But I worry about the smaller sun shade, the lack of accessories and the lack of padding. I'm concerned about the width of the BOB and the handlbar height.
And finally, are we making a mistake not looking at a general stroller like the P3?
I'm really trying to justify the extra cost of these more expensive strollers and want to make the right decision. And I read over and over on this board and other that you get what you pay for. If it's worth it, I'm willing to spend the money, but if there is something else comparable, I'd love to hear that too. And again, since we can't test in person, your feedback is really important. Thank you so much in advance!
