OK, I've been lurking here quite a bit and "feel" like my best choice is the Phil and Ted Sport but thought I would see what everyone else thought.
I have an almost 3-year old son who is 36" tall and about 35 lbs. currently. His younger brother is 3 months old and already 17 lbs. So, they are both big boys. I'm 5'3" and my husband is 6'3". This will be our only double stroller and I want something that is easy to steer and can accommodate the difference in our heights. I know I will have to add the pannier for storage space but am willing to do that. I'm in about the $400 range give or take a little. I don't want a front-wheel that is locked. I don't do much jogging but love the smoothness of the jogging strollers. There is a possibility that we could take it on some low impact hiking trails.
My only real concern about the P&T is the size issue with my youngest son. I've never actually seen a P&T because no one here in Omaha carries them but I've looked at tons of reviews and it seems like the best fit.
