I am expecting #2 in November, exactly 2 years apart. #1 still loves her stroller, so I have to get a double of some sort. Mostly mall, walks around the neighborhood and plane travel. Any advice on the P&T's? There are no local stores that carry them, so I don't know if I should go with the twin buggy, or just get a sport with a doubles attachment? Also, any news on when the GT is coming out? I have a big SUV, so stroller size is not an issue, but I am little, so weight is definitely a factor.
Thanks in advance for the advice
I just went through this decision making process. I agonized over whether to get an all-terrain SBS double like the BOB revolution dualie, a lightweight SBS like a Maclaren, or the P&T sport with the doubles attachment. None of them are perfect.
The P&T is a great mix of features, though. The SBS doubles are just so wide that I ruled them out for anything other than outdoor activities. The P&T will work inside a mall or airport, but it's also a great outdoor stroller. I'd be happier with the BOB for trails and the beach, but unless I start taking daily hikes (not likely!), the P&T will be just fine.
So, I'm 99% decided on the P&T. It's too bad that you can't see it in person because that's what really sold me and my husband.

a friend with 2 at same age difference as yours will be just got a mt. buggy urban double, and another got the p&t. i'll ask them what they think! when i shopped w/ the friend w/ the mt. buggy, the sales woman (who i know well and is really good at her job/mom/knows a ton) said she'd recommend the p&t anyday b/c of its easy of use and lightweight frame. also said that with the new baby, they seem to like the cocoon of being in that back spot.
other option would be a valco: they are a bit bigger than the p&t, but you can add a seat in front and a toddler step board in back, and potentially have 3 on there at once! goodness. good luck!

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but what cup holders or consoles have P & T owners tried? I read somewhere about the BOB console, but just wondering if anything else worked?
Thanks!

My kids are 2 yrs 4 mo and we have been so happy with the Phil & Ted's with doubles attachment. It is an awesome stroller! Probably one of the best of all the baby gadgets I've purchased. It's great because it's the width of a single stroller so you can manuever in stores. It fits in my trunk better than my Maclaren single does. I find it is relatively light and easier to fold than any of my other strollers. I am constantly taking it in and out of my trunk because I always want to use this stroller whether I'm at the Mall or walking around our neighborhood where the sidewalks are a bit bumpy and uneven.
For the other poster I used the Bob console and it works well!
Good Luck!

DS and DD are 4 days from being exactly 2 years apart. I can tell you the P&T was one of my top item purchase. Best decision ever made; no regrets. It handles great, so easy to push and can easily be steered with one hand. I don't think it's too heavy of a stroller considering all the positive features you get with it.
