Babyproofing the house

I am way overdue for babyproofing my drawers/cabinets and now my toddler is wrecking havoc in my house. The problem is I have a lot of antiques that I do not want to damage by drilling/screwing locks into. However, I need the storage space these pieces provide since this is the only furniture I have. Is there anything out there I can child proof drawers/cabinets with that doesn't require screws, etc.?

We used superyard gates around a couple of antiques. Eventually DS learned they were no touch items.

You can use almost any kind of lock with double-stick tape instead of the nails and screws. Most of the time if the kid can't open it within a few tries, they end up giving up and moving on. By the time they have enough force to pull off the lock and tape, they've figured out to undo the latch mechanism anyway!
